Director of Otosense Healthcare, is a pioneer in transforming thoughts and ideas into reality. Mr.
Shijin Varghese is technically sound Interventional Senior Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist
with over 13-years of experience to his credit. Born in 1988 in an idyllic village kuriannoor near Marammon,
Pathanamthitta, south region of Kerala. He is graduated BASLP from Kannur University and MASLP from Mangalore
University. He was the head of the Audiology and Speech Language Pathology Department at Government Hospital
Thiruvalla from 2014 to 2023. He has worked as Speech Therapist at Thiruvalla Medical Mission Hospital and the
head of the Audiology department at Shravan ENT care Ernakulam. He was the head of the Speech and Hearing
department at Marthoma Center for Rehabilitation and Development, Thelliyoor. In 2016 Mr. Shijin were started
a speech therapy consultation in a small room in front of Govt.Hospital Thiruvalla. Within one year he exposed
to the need for proper treatment in, those who are suffering hearing and communication difficulties in this region.
So, in 2017 Auguest 18th Mr. Shijin started first clinic called Otosense Speech and Hearing Healthcare near Govt.
Hospital Thiruvalla. An expert in all speech and language disorders, Adult Neurological Language Disorders, Assessment
and diagnosis of hearing disorders, Hearing aid trial and fitting. He has been trained for cochlear implant pre and
post counselling and AVT Therapy, Voice therapy, Swallowing Therapy, from Madras ENT Research Foundation Chennai,
Manipal Medical College Udupi, and Malabar Cancer Centre Kannur.
He is the Member of Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA) and the Executive council member of Kerala State Branch
(KSB-ISHA) of Indian Speech and Hearing Association. He is the Member of District Disability Commission. He has published
many articles in National and International Journals.
Mrs.Reeja Shijin is a highly experienced Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist with more than
7 years of experience. Mrs. Reeja is instrumental in shaping each department and a Passionate and experienced
Chief Operating Officer in Otosense Healthcare. She has a proven track record of bringing forth the necessary
skills and work ethic to support productivity and efficiency in a child development centre. She is an expert in
effectively managing day-to-day operations to ensure positive staff morale and patient satisfaction.
She is also an expert in managing psychological and behavioural issues in children with Speech and Language
Disorders. She was the Head of the Audiology and Speech Pathology Department at Shravan ENT Care Cochin. She is
well experienced in assessment and management of children with speech and language disorders, Adult Language Disorders,
Autism Intervention, hearing aid fitting, and she is a compassionate and caring Speech Pathologist. She has been trained
for treatment of various speech language and hearing disorders for all age groups from NIMHANS Bangalore and Malabar Cancer
Centre Kannur. She is the member of Kerala State Branch (KSB-ISHA) of Indian Speech and Hearing Association. She completed
her Bachelor Degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from Kerala University of Health science and Master’s
