Otosense Speech and Hearing Healthcare was established since 2016 at Thiruvalla, for me starting a well-equipped quality Speech and Hearing Healthcare is a dream nurtured deep in my heart, after I finished Master’s degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology. The dream to create a state-of-the-art speech and hearing healthcare destination, which one day will become an ideal centre for those who are suffering communication disorders. I always believed that healthcare is a service to society, and profit is just a byproduct. With the strong conviction and the continues efforts across the years Otosense has evolved in to one of the finest and the most preferred Ent clinic, Child development centre and Hearing Aid centre in the Central Travancore region. Otosense has highly qualified doctors and responsive professionals, most advanced facilities for diagnostics and therapeutics and latest innovations of hearing aids which meets world’s standard, gives you better care and services. Mr. SHIJIN VARGHESE, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of Otosense Healthcare, is a pioneer in transforming thoughts and ideas into reality. Mr. Shijin Varghese is technically sound Interventional Senior Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist with over 13-years of experience to his credit. Born in 1988 in an idyllic village kuriannoor near Marammon, Pathanamthitta, south region of Kerala. He is graduated BASLP from Kannur University and MASLP from Mangalore University. He was the head of the Audiology and Speech Language Pathology Department at Government Hospital Thiruvalla from 2014 to 2023. He has worked as Speech Therapist at Thiruvalla Medical Mission Hospital and the head of the Audiology department at Shravan ENT care Ernakulam. He was the head of the Speech and Hearing department at Marthoma Center for Rehabilitation and Development, Thelliyoor. In 2016 Mr. Shijin were started a speech therapy consultation in a small room in front of Govt.Hospital Thiruvalla. Within one year he exposed to the need for proper treatment in, those who are suffering hearing and communication difficulties in this region. So, in 2017 Auguest 18th Mr. Shijin started first clinic called Otosense Speech and Hearing Healthcare near Govt. Hospital Thiruvalla. An expert in all speech and language disorders, Adult Neurological Language Disorders, Assessment and diagnosis of hearing disorders, Hearing aid trial and fitting. He has been trained for cochlear implant pre and post counselling and AVT Therapy, Voice therapy, Swallowing Therapy, from Madras ENT Research Foundation Chennai, Manipal Medical College Udupi, and Malabar Cancer Centre Kannur.

He is the Member of Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA) and the Executive council member of Kerala State Branch (KSB-ISHA) of Indian Speech and Hearing Association. He is the Member of District Disability Commission. He has published many articles in National and International Journals.

Mrs.Reeja Shijin is a highly experienced Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist with more than 7 years of experience. Mrs. Reeja is instrumental in shaping each department and a Passionate and experienced Chief Operating Officer in Otosense Healthcare. She has a proven track record of bringing forth the necessary skills and work ethic to support productivity and efficiency in a child development centre. She is an expert in effectively managing day-to-day operations to ensure positive staff morale and patient satisfaction.

She is also an expert in managing psychological and behavioural issues in children with Speech and Language Disorders. She was the Head of the Audiology and Speech Pathology Department at Shravan ENT Care Cochin. She is well experienced in assessment and management of children with speech and language disorders, Adult Language Disorders, Autism Intervention, hearing aid fitting, and she is a compassionate and caring Speech Pathologist. She has been trained for treatment of various speech language and hearing disorders for all age groups from NIMHANS Bangalore and Malabar Cancer Centre Kannur. She is the member of Kerala State Branch (KSB-ISHA) of Indian Speech and Hearing Association. She completed her Bachelor Degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from Kerala University of Health science and Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (MAPC) from Indira Gandhi University.

Mrs. Reeja is Able to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines. Brings superior communication and time management abilities. A self-motivated and creative graduate with extensive interpersonal, communication skills.

Dr. Mathew Abraham is a senior specialist in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ENT) with a sound experience of 40 years of practice and surgical proficiency. After completing his MBBS from Alapuzha Government Medical College Hospital, his commitment and passion for medicine inspired him to complete his MS - ENT from K.M School of Post Graduate Medicine Vadilal Hospital Ahmedabad- 1981.

He was a leading ENT specialist at Kerala health services since 1981 -1988. He was the Head of the department at District Hospital Kottayam from 1983 to 1988 and then joined Ministry of health UAE as Specialist A.over 29 years. From 2017 onwards he worked as Head of ENT department at Parumala St.Gregorios Hospital and Mammen Memorial Hospital Chengannoor.

Dr. Mathew Abraham has done research and published many articles in various clinical papers, national and international journals. He is passionate about finding holistic, tailored and individualised care plans for his patients with a good team. The collaboration with other specialties such as Audiologist, Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist and Special Educator, ensures that the patient is offered complete quality care. He is the Head of ENT Department at Otosense Paippad branch. After completing his MBBS from Karnataka he served as a medical officer in Endosulfan Rehabilitation,Kasargod and worked in KIMs as a resident doctor for a span of 3 years. His commitment and passion for medicine inspired him to complete his MS - ENT from Mahatma Gandhi medical College and research institute,Puducherry 2023 After having selected as senior resident in CMC Vellore and became a vertigo clinician ever since.Dr. Roby ThomasKoshy has done research and published many articles in various clinical papers. The collaboration with other specialties such as Audiologist, Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist and Special Educator, ensures that the patient is offered complete quality care. Mrs Chinnu Jacob Kuruvilla (MSc SLP) is an experienced and dedicated speech pathologist with more than 3 years of experience in the field. She holds a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Manipal college of Health Professions MAHE, Manipal. She did her under graduation from National Institute of speech and hearing Trivandrum. She is also a licensed member of the Rehabilitation council of India.

Throughout her career, she had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from young children to adults, helping them overcome speech, language, and communication challenges. She had worked as an SLP in Pratheeksha Child development Center, Thiruvalla as well as in Tiny Tenders Child Development Centre. Her areas of expertise include Autism spectrum disorders, stuttering, speech sound disorders, language and other literacy disorders. She has also attended talk tools Oral placement therapy level l.

Ms. Jitty Thomas (BASLP) is an Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist and she completed her graduation in Audiology and Speech Language pathology from Mangalore university.

She has trained in diagnosis and management of speech language and hearing disorders. She excels in providing comprehensive treatment solution for fluency and swallowing disorders. She is also an expert in managing children with cochlear implants. She got trained in audiological evaluation and dispensing hearing aids. She had the privilege to attend various training programs from NIMHANS Bangalore, Dr. S.R Chandrasekhar Institute of Speech and Hearing ,Dr.Sankar ENT Clinic Calicut and Holly Cross Hospital Kollam.

Ms.Keziya Anna Kuriakose (BASLP) is an Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist Graduated from Mangalore University. She got trained in diagnosis and management of childhood language disorders, Autism, ADHD, fluency and other language conditions. She is also an expert in managing children with cochlear implants. She had the privilege to attend various training programs from Kasturba Medical college Mangalore, Dr.S.R Chandrasekhar Institute of Speech and Hearing,Dr.Sankar ENT Clinic Calicut, St,Johns Hospital Bangalore.

Mr. Samson Kuruvilla (BOT) is a Senior occupational therapist with 22 years of experience in developmental disorders, neurologicaldisorders, hand rehabilitation and mental health. He is currently the head of Occupational Therapy department in Otosense Speech and Hearing Healthcare. He completed his Graduation in Occupational Therapy from K.M.C.H College of Occupational Therapy. He had the privilege to Workin DEALLCOM Bangalore and SAMVAAD Institute with Paediatric Community in Bangalore and he was a part of PMR team at King Khalid University Hospital, Riyadh Saudi Arabia. He has worked at St.Gregorios Medical Mission hospital, Parumala in Mental health department.He is s a of part of Marthoma Centre for Rehabilitation and development Thelliyoor.

Mr. Samson has also amassed extensive experience in training students and senior occupational therapist at Samagra Shiksha Pathanamthitta, Govt.Of kerala, Autism Project. He was also a resource person for NIEPMD,Chennai. Member of All India Occupational Therapist's Association (AIOTA)and Kerala Branch (KOTA).

Mr.NaveenK is an Occupational Therapist Graduated from Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai. He was an Occupational Therapist at "Able Medi Park " in Thrissur.He had the privilege to trained from NIMHANS Bangalore, St.Johns Medical CollegeHospital Bangalore, Bharani Pavanthan Multi Speciality Hospital Erode and Parrot Child Development Care Calicut. He is a skilled Occupational Therapist with an expert in Managing Autism, ADD, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Behavioural Issues, and ADL Impairment. He is Committed to enhancing the safety and well-being of clients with a variety of backgrounds and conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He shows great initiative, positive attitude in his work and also approachable.

Mr. D. Hudson Taylor is an Occupational Therapist, graduated from Saveetha college of Occupational Therapy, Chennai. During his UG, he is well trained in paediatrics, Neuro - rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Plastic surgery and Regenerative surgery, Community based rehabilitation, Physical medicine and rehabilitation, Hand rehabilitation unit and splint unit.

He has good therapeutic skills, time management skills, communication skills and creativity. He is committed to enhancing the safety and well - being of clients. Member of All India Occupational Therapists Association (AIOTA).

During his UG he did research on the topic - Effect of auditory based play therapy on auditory avoidance behaviour among children with ASD and published in a journal of chemical health risks (indexed in Scopus).

Mrs. Susan James is a Senior Special Educator and the Head of Special Education Department in Otosense Healthcare. She is an accomplished and dedicated educator with a profound commitment to enriching the lives of children with special needs. With a career spanning several years, Susan has accumulated a wealth of experience in various educational settings, including special schools, public schools, and rehabilitation centres. As a Special Educator at St. Mary’s Residential Public School, Susan has been instrumental in shaping the educational experiences of her students. Her responsibilities include adapting the curriculum to suit the learning needs of students with special needs, planning and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEP), and conducting valuable remedial sessions.

Susan's experience extends to her role as a Special Teacher at Pathanamthitta Municipality BRC, where she has trained and educated both children and adults with cognitive disabilities. Prior to her current roles, Susan served as a Special Educator at M.G.M Bethany Special School, where she played a pivotal role in planning, preparing, and implementing IEPs for children with intellectual disabilities. She also served as the coordinator for ' Nallapadam,' a project focused on social skill development.

Susan's academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education. Her dedication to research in the field of special education is evident through her notable contributions to the study of educational accessibility and vocational skill development. Her research work has shed light on innovative strategies to make education more accessible to students with special needs and has highlighted the importance of vocational skill development to enhance their long-term prospects.She also worked as a district level resource person for SCERT Kerala for implementing Current Special School Curriculum.

Ms.Rintu Susan Roy is an enthusiastic and well organised medical receptionist with an excellent patient care support and communication skills in a medical setup.Excellent telephone manner and a warm personality combined with a proficient knowledge of clerical duties and MS Office. She has Completed B. Com Computer Application from Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam.
